1. What We Collect
We only collect the data necessary to provide and improve your experience. This may include:
- Uploaded selfies and photos containing face data, used only for beauty transformation and analysis features
- Generated images and analysis results created from your uploaded photos
- Device and app usage data, such as language, app version, crash logs, and performance data
- Optional email address if you contact support or subscribe to updates
2. How Your Data Is Used
We use your data to:
- Generate hairstyle, hair color, makeup, nail, and age transformation images using AI
- Provide personalized face analysis, skin insights, skin routine suggestions, and color season recommendations
- Display your uploaded photos, generated images, and analysis results back to you inside the app
- Improve app performance and fix bugs
- Respond to support requests
- Offer relevant updates only if you opt in
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
3. Face Data
Because GlowApp's core features rely on user-uploaded photos that may include a face, we want to be fully transparent about how face data is handled.
3.1 What face data we collect
- Selfies and photos that you upload from your device or capture in-app.
- Visible facial features, hair, skin, and face-related attributes needed to generate hairstyle, hair color, face analysis, skin insight, and beauty-related results.
- AI-derived attributes computed from those photos, such as face analysis results, skin insights, color season recommendations, and generated beauty previews.
GlowApp does not create, store, or use facial recognition templates or biometric identifiers to identify you. Face data is used only to generate the visual results and analyses you request.
3.2 How face data is used
- To generate AI hairstyle previews, hair color previews, makeup previews, nail previews, and age transformation images that you request.
- To produce personalized face analysis, skin insights, skin routine suggestions, color season recommendations, and beauty recommendations.
- To display your generated results back to you inside the app.
Face data is never used to identify you, authenticate you, create a biometric profile, advertise to you, track you, or train our AI models.
3.3 Third parties and storage
To generate transformations and analyses, your photos and the attributes derived from them may be sent to trusted third-party AI service providers, such as image generation and vision model providers. These providers process the data on our behalf only to return the requested result.
Our AI service providers are not allowed to use your face data for their own purposes, including advertising, tracking, profiling, or model training.
Uploaded photos, generated images, and related face/photo data are securely stored using cloud infrastructure, including DigitalOcean Spaces. All transfers are encrypted in transit, and stored content is encrypted at rest.
We do not sell face data and we do not share face data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
3.4 How long face data is retained
- Uploaded photos sent to AI service providers are processed only to complete your request and are not used by those providers for their own purposes, including model training.
- On our servers, your uploaded photos, generated images, analysis results, and related face/photo data are retained until you delete them using Settings → Delete My Content.
- You can delete all of your content at any time from Settings → Delete My Content. This removes your uploaded photos, generated images, analysis results, and related face/photo data from our active systems.
- Backup copies may remain for up to 30 days before being permanently deleted.

Our collection, use, disclosure, sharing, and retention of face data is described in this Section 3, titled Face Data. It is also reflected in Section 1, titled What We Collect; Section 2, titled How Your Data Is Used; Section 4, titled No Training or Tracking; Section 5, titled How We Protect Your Data; and Section 6, titled Your Rights.
4. No Training or Tracking
- Uploaded images, face data, generated content, and analysis results are not used to train our AI models or those of our third-party AI providers.
- We do not use face data for advertising, tracking, profiling, identification, or authentication.
- We do not track your location, behavior, or browsing outside the app.
5. How We Protect Your Data
- All data transfers are encrypted in transit.
- Stored content is encrypted at rest.
- We use secure cloud infrastructure and follow industry-standard security practices.
- Access to uploaded photos, generated images, and related face/photo data is limited to systems and service providers needed to deliver the app's requested features.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete all of your content, including uploaded photos, generated images, analysis results, and face data, at any time via Settings → Delete My Content
- Request deletion of your data by contacting us
- Request a copy of any personal data we may store
- Opt out of email communications at any time
