1. Overview

Plink: Party Games ("Plink", "the App") is a local multiplayer party game developed by WeCraft. Phones act as controllers, a TV or web browser shows the shared game arena, and players join rooms by scanning a QR code.

Plink is built around data minimization: there are no user accounts, no sign-ups, and no profiles. We collect only what is needed to run a game session, show ads in the free tier, and process optional purchases.

2. What We Collect

Game session data. When you host or join a room, the App sends the room code, your chosen in-game display name, and gameplay events (answers, scores, aim/shoot actions) to our game server so all players and the TV arena stay in sync. This data is held in the server's memory only for the duration of the session and is discarded when the room closes.

Device and app data. Basic technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, and language may be processed to run the App and diagnose problems.

Purchase data. If you buy Plink Pro, Party Pass, or Plink Yearly, the purchase is processed by Apple. Our subscription provider receives an anonymized purchase receipt and a random app-generated identifier to unlock your purchase — never your name, email, or payment details.

Plink has no accounts. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or payment card details.

3. Camera

  • Some games (such as Aim Blast) use your phone's camera so you can aim at the TV like an arcade light gun.
  • The camera feed is processed in real time on your device only, to detect where you are aiming.
  • Camera images are never recorded, stored, or uploaded to our servers or to any third party.
  • The camera is used only while you play a camera-based game and only after you grant permission.

4. Location

Plink does not track your location. The App never requests location permission during normal use. A location notice may appear in the App Store listing because bundled maps/advertising components reference location APIs, but location data is not requested or collected by the App.

5. Advertising

The free tier of Plink shows ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may process device information (such as device identifiers and general, non-precise region) to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy. On iOS, ad tracking is subject to Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework and your device settings.

Plink Pro removes ads for the whole session. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for purposes other than those described in this policy.

6. Third Parties

Plink relies on the following service providers to operate:

  • Apple — app distribution, in-app purchases, and subscription billing, under Apple's own privacy policy.
  • RevenueCat — processes anonymized purchase receipts to unlock and manage Pro purchases.
  • Google AdMob — serves ads in the free tier.
  • Fly.io — hosts the game server and TV web arena in the European Union (Frankfurt region).

These providers process data only to deliver their part of the App's functionality.

7. Data Retention

  • Room and gameplay data lives in the game server's memory only while a room is active and is discarded when the room closes.
  • Preferences such as language and completed onboarding are stored locally on your device and are removed when you delete the App.
  • We keep no user database: there is no account or profile to retain or delete on our side.

8. Children

Plink is designed for general audiences and family play. Because the App has no accounts, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. In-app purchases are handled and parental-gated by Apple's own purchase flow.

9. Security

  • All communication between your phone, the TV arena, and our game server is encrypted in transit using TLS.
  • Our servers are hosted on secure cloud infrastructure in the European Union.
  • Since no personal data is stored server-side, the risk surface is intentionally minimal.

10. Your Rights

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the rights granted by the GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, and objection. Because Plink stores no personal data on our servers, most of these rights are satisfied by design; for advertising-related choices, you can limit ad tracking in your device settings. For anything else, contact us using the details below.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
